O'Neil | 'We need to use our frustration'

Frustration plain to see as Stoke City fail to make most of dominance against Luton Town

Stoke City fell to a 1-0 defeat to Luton Town on Saturday afternoon, as the Hatters claimed their first away win of the season. The Potters had the better of the chances throughout the game, but they were unable to find a way past a resolute Luton defence.

The result leaves Stoke in 16th place in the Championship table, while Luton move up to 10th. O'Neil admitted that his side were frustrated by their inability to convert their chances, but he praised their performance.

"We played really well today," he said. "We dominated the game and created a lot of chances, but we just couldn't find the back of the net. It's frustrating, but I'm proud of the performance. We need to use our frustration to drive us on in the next game."

Stoke will be looking to bounce back from their defeat when they travel to Reading on Tuesday night.
